How to Play

Empires is an idle civilization game. You guide a civilization through the ages: it farms resources over time (even while you're away), you spend them to build, tech up and field an army, and you fight board/card battles at key milestones.

The three pillars

Every run is scored on three axes at once. Lean into your civilization's affinity — or defy it for a harder, spicier run.

Victory — spicy by angle

There's no single way to win. The same run reorders the leaderboard depending on the axis: a trade empire tops Economic, a horde tops Military, a builder tops Civil. Three leaderboards, plus one overall — and a daily seeded "Civilization of the Day".
